Sprint Game

The Sprint Game offers a fast and furious competition. The principle is to reach a pre-defined P&L (Profit and Loss) target before any of your fellow players does. Be warned - that can happen more quickly than you might expect! The winner is the player who first achieves the set P&L target. If no player achieves the target within the defined duration for the game, entry fees will be refunded to all participants.

Trading is effectively unlimited during game play. A player must make at least one trade to be eligible to win and the game-specific Trading Limits and Overall Stop Loss Limit must be respected.

The Sprint Game is offered only through the Scheduled Games List. Select a game to join - being careful to ensure that the symbol matches your intentions ( for the Sprint Game). The "Join" panel provides the game-specific details:

• Status: Open for entries or Closed (if maximum number of players already entered)
• Total Prize: varies in some games in line with the number of participants
• Entry Fee: variable
• Minimum and Maximum Players: varies (usually 4/8)
• Overall Stop Loss: usually USD 250 000
• Last Entries: date and time (GMT), usually 10 minutes before game is due to start
• Start and End: date and time (GMT)
• Duration: varies from 2 hours to 1 week or longer
• Trading Limit: varies, usually USD 50 million
• Target: varies in line with market volatility and other factors

Once a Sprint game has started, it will appear in the Live Game List. Games which you have joined will be marked with a ticked box. Click on the appropriate game to enter the Play/Watch panes for that game. (If you need to get familiar with the structure and functionality of the Play/Watch panes, use the Practice Game option, which is located at the bottom right of the Live Game list).
